Doughbeezy

Houston, TX

Tai Carr better known by his stage name Doughbeezy, is an American Hip-Hop artist, writer & director from Houston, Texas. Active since 2010, he has released a number of mixtapes and collaborated with musicians such as Bun B., Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Devin The Dude & Killa Kyleon.

It is rumored that he is in the works of putting together a project featuring himself and every rap legend form Houston in 2018!

Doughbeezy has won the award “Best Rapper In Texas” in competition three times, and in 2013 MTV Hive named him one of the "top 5 underground artists in Houston."

Currently Doughbeezy is in the process of finishing up his next music project along with the visuals to back it up! Doughbeezy has also taken his artistry a step further by starting to direct his own videos.

Although Doughbeezy is not a mainstream artist, he is already showing the signs of a truly unselfish entertainer by giving the opportunity to shine to other indie artists by recently founding the latest internet video repost craze now LIVE performance series in Houston called the H-Town Rap Battle held at the Preston Theatre hosted by none other than himself.

A frequent live performer, Doughbeezy has toured with rappers such as Dom Kennedy and is Co-CEO of his own music company Headwreckas Worldwide LLC, along with company founder Al Hughes.
